Teltonika FMC650:
a professional tracker for heavy transport
A specialised solution for MAN, Volvo and Sitrak long-haul tractor units and for bus fleets. Remote download of tachograph files, CAN FMS reading, two SIM slots and support for up to two DualCam cameras — all in one housing.
Built for long-haul work
The FMC650 is Teltonika's senior professional series, developed specifically for heavy commercial vehicles. Unlike the general-purpose models, it reads CAN FMS on lorries and buses and can work with a digital tachograph — provided the vehicle supplies FMS data and the tachograph supports remote download.
For Azerbaijani hauliers running international routes through Georgia and Turkey, the main point is this: tachograph (DDD) files are downloaded remotely while the vehicle is on the road. The driver does not have to come back to base, and the transport planner can see the crew's remaining working time whenever the tracker is connected.
Tachograph and drivers' hours (AETR)
File downloads and driver statuses without a trip back to base. This requires a compatible tachograph, a company card and a subscription to the download service.

Remote download of DDD files
The FMC650 connects to the tachograph over K-Line/CAN and, on a schedule, uploads driver card and tachograph memory files to the server. We set the download schedule to match the deadlines AETR requires — and the files arrive even if the tractor unit does not come back to Baku for months. You still have to check that the download went through: with no connection, or if authorisation fails, the file will not arrive.

WEB Tacho and live data
Through the WEB Tacho service the transport planner sees each driver's status: how many hours at the wheel, when the mandatory break is due, how much is left of the weekly limit. That helps plan a run so that the rules are not broken at checkpoints in Georgia, Turkey and EU countries; responsibility for keeping to the rules still rests with the driver and the haulier.
What the FMC650 is for
International haulage and passenger transport need things basic trackers do not have:
Fines over drivers' hours
Breaching the AETR rules on the Baku to Istanbul route means heavy fines. With live tachograph data the planner sees that a driver is approaching the limit and can adjust the run.
Fuel consumption on an artic
Reading CAN FMS gives you the manufacturer's own consumption and fuel level figures for the tractor unit. Combined with a fuel level sensor on RS485, you see both siphoning and real consumption on the Baku to Gazakh road.
Disputes out on the road
DualCam support (road plus cab) records accidents and disputed moments on video. Footage can be requested remotely and helps in disputes with insurers and freight customers.
Roaming on international runs
Two SIM slots: a local Bakcell/Azercell card for Azerbaijan and a roaming card for Georgia, Turkey and the EU. We configure switching between the SIM cards by rules — by the country the network is registered in, for example.
Technical strengths of the FMC650
Full integration with the tachograph
Remote download of DDD files from driver cards and from the tachograph memory, live driving statuses through WEB Tacho. Common VDO and Stoneridge tachographs are supported, including smart tachographs for runs into the EU.
Why the FMC650
AETR compliance
Scheduled remote tachograph downloads for international runs.
Professional interfaces
RS232, RS485, CAN, K-Line — everything connects, from fuel sensors to cameras.
Connectivity in reserve
Two SIMs and internal memory: with no connection the track builds up and goes to the server later.
8–32 V supply
Works as standard with the 24V electrical systems of lorries and buses.
What the cost is made up of
The final figure depends on the type of vehicle, the set of sensors and the size of the fleet. We will prepare an exact quote for your case free of charge after a short audit — within one working day.
