How we work with vendors
Direct contracts
We deal with the manufacturers without middlemen. Difficult technical questions go to the vendor's own support, and the warranty on the equipment runs on the manufacturer's terms.
Technical expertise
Our engineers are certified by our partners on a regular basis, which gives them access to the latest firmware and software features.
Who answers for it if a device fails
- The client contacts GPS.az support, not the manufacturer.
- We check the device remotely: connectivity, power, configuration, firmware. Some problems are settled at this stage.
- If a replacement or a repair is needed, we swap the device and carry the settings across, so that the unit's history in Wialon is not broken.
- We handle the warranty claim with the manufacturer ourselves; the vendor's response times are outside our control, so while the claim is being looked at we fit a loan device, if one is in stock.
