Queclink GV50:
an ultra-compact GPS tracker

A miniature Queclink tracker for covert fitting: position, ignition and one output for immobilisation. Suitable for sales representatives' cars, couriers and private vehicles where fuel sensors and CAN are not needed.

A small housing means more places to fit it

The small size of the Queclink GV50 lets you hide it inside the vehicle's own wiring, where nobody will look for a tracker first. That helps against theft and where the driver should not be able to get at the device easily. Detection cannot be ruled out entirely: an experienced auto electrician will find a tracker by following the power wires.

The GPS and GSM antennas are internal, so we pick a mounting spot with no metal above the tracker. In a closed garage or an underground car park no tracker will see satellites — there the device reports its last known position.

What matters in day-to-day use

We set the firmware and the configuration at installation and update them remotely when needed. How steadily it runs depends largely on the quality of the power connection and on the mounting location.

  • Power protection

Designed for the electrical systems of cars and lorries. We check the permitted voltage range and the protection against the data sheet for the version supplied.

  • Accurate GPS

With a clear view of the sky the position is accurate to within a few metres. Between tower blocks and under flyovers points can drift — that is a limitation of satellite positioning, not of this model.

Where the GV50 comes in handy

Its small size helps where there is nowhere to put a full-size tracker:

Food delivery

Fitting to scooters and mopeds where there is no room for larger hardware. Real-time monitoring of couriers.

Sales representatives

Visits to retail outlets by geofence and trips outside working hours both show up in the reports.

Scooter hire

Being compact, the tracker can be built straight into the body of an electric scooter or a bicycle.

A hidden beacon

A second device on the vehicle: if the main tracker is disabled, the GV50 keeps sending its position until it too is found and for as long as it has power.
